About Covid and Help Resources

Hello Friends. For more than 28 years I have been welcoming families into my home. It has been a pleasure to introduce you to your new kitten, go over kitten care, and answer any  questions you may have. I want to give new kittens owners the best possible start. This is my life's work, and something that I love doing. Ragdolls bring such joy and comfort to families. If I can bring a little piece of happiness to someone I feel like my life has meaning, and that I've made the world a little better place to live.

Sadly, at this time I can no longer welcome people into my home. I will bring the kitten out to your car, and place him safely in your cat carrier. You will still get a written guarantee, detailed feeding/vaccination instructions, TICA paperwork, and a goody bag that will contain food and toys.  We can speak outside, if the weather is agreeable. I am still here for you, and I'm happy to answer any questions via email: starliterags@gmail.com, or phone: 715.340.3435.

This is the reason why.  I have contacted covid twice, and have gotten very sick, at one point I thought that I might not make it.  My husband has also gotten covid and he was frightfully sick for several weeks. I can no longer put myself or my family at risk. I have no idea of the health status of visitors, and I don't want my home to be a possible source of infection to anyone else.  I spend most of my time at home, and I need to know that the air I am breathing is free of covid.  Thankfully, I knew how to get help, we are both recovered and well.  I'm going to tell you how to get help, and give you tips to stay well. The information that I am going to share is my opinion, based on my experience with covid, my research, and advice from my doctor.  Please take the time to read this entire page.

If you can prevent covid that is obviously the best way to go. These are a few things my doctor recommended for prevention, and help during treatment to fight covid.  I am not a doctor, and this is my opinion based on my experience with covid. Please consult your doctor. Eat healthy and try to maintain a healthy weight, exercise. See photo of the vitamins that help promote a healthy immune system. Please consult your doctor for proper dosages. These vitamins help support a healthy immune system, for prevention, and they aid in treatment of covid.  The Quercetin acts a a catalyst that drives the Zinc into your cells, so the Zinc and do it's job. Quercetin is getting difficult to find, I had to order it from Amazon. Health food stores may carry it. Your doctor may recommend other vitamins. Vitamin D3 is very important, as most people are deficient, especially in the winter months, that is why many people get seasonal cold and flu.
